Thank you to jaylake over in LJ for the link

Don't know what Livejournal is after with this announcement, but I prefer *not* to have the fact that I'm female out there all the time.  Creeps do exist and they thrive in the anoymous internet world. Hey LJ! Let me decide when/if to show that info.

(I've fallen off of posting regularly in either my private LJ and my private DW, but this looks like enough to start me up again.)

Something I needed to read since a computer dying prevented me from writing on my story since last Thursday.

Ok, I can usually get the kernel of why in my dreams but this one has me baffled:

I purchased a beautiful house, a very expensive house, on a hill? bluff? cliff? overlooking the ocean.  It was gorgeous inside, and the view was spectacular, but the couple who built it were insane.  They put a pump in the ocean to pipe water into the house.  WTF? Not only is the water undrinkable, it made me stink when I took a shower at my new house, and every four hours at low tide there WAS NO WATER!  Right before I woke up, I was proposing to my boyfriend that we switch over to using rainwater collected from the gutter downspouts into a big water tank because this was so totally unworkable.

Now, I have no clue what a dream house with seawater in the plumbing means.

I had to chase the kids outside to enjoy the beautiful weather here in Tacoma today.  A sunny warm day, a huge playset and yard available and they *had* to be chased out? A day like today is what I miss most now that I'm a responsible adult. I had laundry to do so had to stay inside.

Sheesh!

Pepsi came out with "pepsi throwback" where they're using real sugar instead of the high fructose corn sugar the use normally.  Got some and tried it.  It's very good, better in fact. Why pepsico ever changed from real sugar puzzles me now...

Starting to feel better, finally.  I gave a massage this afternoon and didn't feel like falling over and sleeping.

I'm still feeling like crap, but I'll save you from the details.  I called and rescheduled my dentist appointment this morning, and the woman at the office sounded grateful that I wanted to move it because I'm sick.  I wonder if they have the same thing happen to them: people come in sick and give it to them to spread around to other patients/clients.

Feeling tired again, I think I'll take a nap now.

Having a cold when everyone is afraid of the swine flu pandemic just sucks, y'know. (a-choo)
Relax, stuffy nose and sore throat without body aches and fever means cold.

If you get the reference in the title, and especially if you laughed :D, you're showing your age.
